Joint Position by BSERC and ARM on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan

The Black Sea Energy Research Centre and the Association of the Rhodope Municipalities submitted a joint Position to the Bulgarian authorities regarding the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria. The Position specifically concerns the project focused on small-scale renewable energy solutions.

The project fills a serious gap in the field of public finance in Bulgaria and provides access for small municipalities to crucial funding that is currently unavailable, as the beneficiaries of existing programmes are only municipalities where there is a significant breach of air quality levels.

You can read the official Position of both organizations here.

Since November 2019, BSERC and ARM has been working closely with the municipalities of the Rhodope region to raise awareness and motivate households to replace old inefficient heating and cooling systems and switch to more modern and cleaner alternatives resulting in financial savings, improved indoor climate, comfort and operational reliability.
