“Tcherno More” Co., Varna, is a private joint-stock company specializing in the design, production and trade with civil and defence navigation radars.

The project aimed to support investors and designers of new and renovated buildings within the company’s premises in making informed decisions regarding construction and/or use of appropriate energy sources and heating and cooling systems.

The activities carried out included:

  • Analysis of legal, regulatory and technical characteristics, along with criteria for selecting optimal energy supply solutions (individual, local, gas supply, district heating) and related energy systems and equipment;
  • Review of modern energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for energy supply in residential, public and commercial buildings;
  • Preliminary assessment of the thermal energy demand for heating, cooling and domestic hot water supply in the buildings at the site of “Tcherno More” Co., in the context of the planned construction of new Class A residential buildings and the refurbishment of existing ones;
  • Development of criteria and considerations for selecting energy-efficient sources for heating and power generation, as well as systems for heating, cooling and domestic hot water preparation.
