The MEDEAS European model has recently been released. It is based on the same modular structure as MEDEAS-World, but with some novelties. MEDEAS models are nested, meaning that the simulations from the global model affect the European model. Resource (materials and energy) availability, climate change impacts and the economic landscape that Europe has to deal with are loaded to the new model.
